Every once in awhile we all need to be pushed, motivated and driven..these are all elements I am extremely familiar with and these are many of the reasons that inspired me to compete for Ms. Fitness USA. I was in a slump, unhappy with my body image, lack of energy and just plain tired of feeling uncomfortable. I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and still I needed a push, something more. I had always wanted to compete for Ms. Fitness since my early 20's but hadn't reached that mental state, one day it just clicked, I was tired of my rut and decided to make a change for the better and WOW, what a difference a year makes!

My desire and passion for this goal sky rocketed to a new level and with a very disciplined workout routine and strict diet I took 3rd place in Ms Fitness Hollywood which qualified me to compete for Ms. Fitness USA in Las Vegas where I placed 20th out of 50 women from all around the US. I competed against very awesome athletes, moms, and professionals. It was the most amazing experience and I will be competing again for Ms. Fitness in 2008 with that same passion, actually with even more determination if that is possible.

Your dreams can happen once you set your mind to it, my body shape and image changed so dramatically that I became my own billboard and my personal training grew to new heights. It's never been easy, I struggled and had many hard days but when it's your passion, the desire never dies.
